Well Clark has us in a mad thrash mode to get a car ready for the show. It's going pretty good and lost a set of doors so that should make it easier. Twelve days left...I guess we have it easier than the guys on Monster Garage.
I love it already, love the design and I'm sure y'all will do a first rate job...With such a short wheelbase, I wonder if it will be easily able to pull wheelies? Hmmmm....
I think the wheelbase will end up about 88". We've been moving the front axle around to get the best look. I thought this was going to be an easy project.....wrong. We ended up reshaping the rear wheelwells, ramaking the bottom of the doors and moving things around just to get it right. Hopefully we'll start painting by early next week and be ***embled for Detroit. I may have to ride on the trailer to finish it Jr and I will need Detroit just to relax. Clark
clark you thought is was going to be easy when was anything easy, well it looks good from the side are you going to drop the front end a little lower it does have a coolness to it, i like it.
Well after a few 14-18 hour days were almost done. Man I can't wait to be in Detroit sitting back relaxing.
I was wonderin' how you guy's was makin out with this. Thats going to be a cool little car. later shawn

Are those Lincoln wheels? If so, it looks like the center raised part has been turnned down smooth... Am I right?
4t64rd...check out the Halibrand? post there are some Chryslers that are similar to the Lincoln's also. HRM 2000...the windshield is tinted green. When Bill dropped off the seat I was glad to see some color. The dash, column and steering wheel are red as well. bwj...be sure to stop over and see us in the ba*****t.
Last lap crash took out the leaders and handed it to Montieth. No I couldn't go the boss is a **** and made me work. Hope you feeling better this trip is almost here.
Our biggest problem is the new flexplate was wrong and now we have to wait til tuesday morning for a new one. Motor can't go in til then. Clark
I have a nice set of Versailles wheels (small pattern) I plan on using on a T tub, I just sold a pair the Chryslers, the only difference is an extra character line that would need to be blended in... Although some of the Chrysler wheels didn't have those oval holes and might look smoother when done. Are the oval holes filled in on those?
