When I started my business of restoring cars and building hot rods I was all by myself for a few years. One day there was a well dressed young man knocking at the back door of my shop holding a clip board. My first thought was "Crap, what didn't I file right that the KDHE is at the door!" Well that young man turned out to be my first employee. He had talent and just needed some direction. Several years later he had to leave, everything changes. I was sad to see him go but knew he needed to move on. I will always remember the years we spent together and the cars we built, great times! Thank you Lance. Yesterday was the day he said his vows and he asked that we bring a few cars for the occasion. Here are the pics. Country Church with the groom by his car. 51 Ford he chopped himself and metal finished the roof. He just got his a/c working and that was a good deal as it was mid ninties. Ball and chain we made at the shop for the occasion. Just a joke, Eryn is a great gal. Best wishes Lance and Eryn!!!! I have a few videos of the wedding chase that I am trying to upload.
Wow! Thanks for the laugh! Seeing the the ball n chain .....brought back memories.....just a BIGGER chain, and oh ya, the 1/4 inch steel ankle braslet (sp) and huge lock. After 23 years, I wish she would take it off.
Congrats to the happy couple may your years together be filled with good times. As for the ball and chain I was chained to a 351 cleveland block ..ah the memories.
Here is some cell phone, shaking video of the cars in motion. If you watch till the end I will get on the Olds for you!!! Ha Ha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKNB6dyp4Ts

Congratulations Lance and Eryn!!! Hey Lance... You've got to hire a REAL professional wedding photographer... Mike only photographs cars!!! Hahaha...
Hey Mike, how come all the start &stop on the camera??? A real street rodding wedding for sure!!!!!! How's the kids doing? Didn't see his hat, probably not formal enough---HA! No hats this year----But would you like 2 stickers for your cars???? Congrats to the newly weds!----This year will be our 60th!! Liked the "burnout"------Cool!---------Don
60 WOW. I guess I am headed there if I live long enough and the wife can put up with me for 40 more. No hat at the wedding. Even two of the guys who work for me didn't wear hats and I thought they were born wearing hats. You guys should know that I work metal better than a camera, I will have to work on it when I am not busy. Got to get to work now before I have to fire myself. Thanks for the offer on the sticker, but I wouldn't feel right with them on the car since I missed the show. I am working on the other car a little so maybe next year I will pick one up from you in person!!!!!!!!
Not just yet. He decided on the hemi so I am doing the 409 in my pickup. Should get started on her next month!
Thanks everybody for the good words and wishes. Eryn and I just got back from our Honey moon, and the response from you guys is pretty cool to see. I will add to Mikes post as soon as we get our pictures and video, from the picture and video people. from the previews there should be some cool stuff in there. Thanks Lance
Congrats to you both and great job to Mike, really enjoyed the pics and video, not to mention seeing the huge grin on your boy!! LOL Way to go man!! Mike
