Coup Customs is a guy my the name of Nathan Cooper who back around 2005 ran something called the Old Ford Parts Mining Company, and he scammed many people out of their money selling either old Ford parts that I guess he never had in the first place. Well he is back in business and the business is located in Chino, Arizona this time. I could not find a physical address other than Chino, AZ. When he ordered decals from me back around 2005 he would always call and say he never received them and that is when another person who posts hear on the "HAMB" made me aware of all the scams he was pulling. At that time he was located in Chandler, AZ. and after that he was located in CA. and he was using a postal mail drop box place. I think when he was in California, he called his business Porkys Truck Stop or something like that. There have been many postings on the "HAMB" over the years about this guy, but I guess he is still ripping people off and getting away with it. Do business with him at your own risk. Maybe do a search on this site for Nathan Cooper before buying, you waste your time and money dealing with him. This guy has run this same scam for 17 years and ripped off a lot of car guys money doing it. Jimbo
Guess I got lucky. I ordered a Francisco Racing Fuel decal from "Coup Customs" when we were restoring our Bonneville bike. The decal showed up in little over a week. This would have been early 2010.
On his website his address is 382 Butterfield Rd #58 Chino Valley AZ 86323 His latest scam seems to be mimicing the Alliance program here on the HAMB. $50/yr and apparently discounts at vendors although none seem to have signed up yet. Also some BS about it going non-profit.
This guy is a real piece of work. The address he is now using 382 Butterfield Rd #58 Chino Valley AZ 86323 is a Fed Ex mail store to receive his mail. This is the exact same thing he has done for many years now by never using is real address. Without someone standing there and waiting for him to come for his mail, there really is not a way to find this guy. Jimbo
It used to be hot rodders and car guys in general could be trusted . not so the last 15 years or so , scams are rampant . sucks the big one as most of us save up for that part , getting scammed has us loose interest and delays our protects . hope this guy gets caught legally or otherwise .
I bought some 40 standard instrument panel decals from him. Too shiny and did not have the holes punched for the gauge needles. He was a jerk about it. “If you can’t punch a couple of holes, you shouldn’t be building cars”. F**K him. Anytime someone on FB pointed out his past he would delete them from the group and some of his cronies (fictional) would pile on. He swears that he is reformed and all that is in his past. Caveat Emptor. You can’t change the stripes on a skunk.
