Someone messaged me wondering about the amount of chop on my coupe, and how the 30 visor was attached to the body, long story short,I lost his info,so here goes.the chop is 2-3/4" basically took the header out above the windshield. Did not chop the windshield, just lowered the visor to it,and that dictated how much the chop was to be. What's the right visor? I've got like six of the 28/9,just think they're ugly.

    Besides,REAL hot rods don't have visors! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1451621940.959619.jpg
    Or valves in the heads!

Car looks great, not overly chopped but not stock either. What tire/wheel sizes you running it looks perfect.

  10. I'm a chop fan, big or small.
Your Coupe has got nice proportions, and sits real nice too.

Awesome looking car I love everything about it. I was thinking about doing a spring behind deal on a 30 coupe I'm currently building. do you have any pictures of how you did yours?

Thanks for taking the time to post the drawing, I'm thinking I'd like to keep my rumble seat, do you know if that's possible with a spring behind setup?

    Thanks

Seems quite likely that the rumble would work, may have to thin out the seat base, and get creative with the rear of the floor, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The top is perfect. A "Goldilocks" cut, just enough, not too much. Gary

Brady, the next owner can touch up the paint! They're only original once! In The original plan it was to be driven on a lengthy shake down run, which it has(15000 miles) then be blown apart and painted black, but after a couple months of driving it around with original paint,it became obvious that was never gonna happen on my watch! I do want to replace the top material this winter with black haartz cloth, and maybe some interior panels, but nothing too major in changes.

I think with chops the best judge of how much is to let the better half sit in it if she aint happy you may as well get rid of it now rather than let it drag out until it is either her or the car, it still has to be comfortable to ride in on a long trip.
