That thing is cool lookin. I dont normally like 34's or yellow cars for that matter. But that one just has "the look"
Lookin good...wasn't that car built in the Pacific Northwest by a magazine freelance guy? I can't remember his name right now....right on the tip of my memory but the name escapes me......
Hey Clark...roadster is coming, a little slow. Put the Z back in the rails (help from my buddy Roy Jordan), cleaned and racked the frame rails, motor and ****** are ready, next big project is the floor. Nice to hear from you...hope you recovered from the flood. As for the builder of this car, unfortunately, the original builder is unknown. Rumors are something about it coming out of New York State, also that it was seen at a car show in Detroit. Ed Harper brought the car to Maryland, owned it at least 18 years ( I need to get this nailed down.). I do know that Ed hit a guardrail on the way to Louisville around 1979. The car was chopped by the one and only Plumb Thomas, formely of MD, now resides in Tennessee. It was worked on and painted by Harper, Smith, and Cook. I bought it from Ed a little over 8 years ago .
