Im doing a little rethinking on the old addage "coupes are for chickens", having had several roadster and enjoying the open ride, I have to say I cant remember a January that Ive been able to drive a roadster without freezin my ass off, but today Jan 02 12 my wife and I clicked off about 80 miles the the model a with the heat on and damned if it wasnt comfortable!!! No screamin wind in my left ear or screamin wife in my right ear, NO shakin like a dog shittin peach pitts and fingers froze to the wheel. The coupe performed excellent and considering I was putting the first few miles on a new engine, it was great, had to tighten the valve covers and 1 heater hose and that was it, need to get the rollers off the front and put the new tires back on, and will probably drive it all week, I cant believe its January!!!! Its been an acceptional winter in the midwest but we certainly have enjoyed the benefits of driving old cars latter in the year then we ever have, hell last weekend we took the 47 and looked at christmas lights, theres something to be said for roll up windows and heater, but honestly theres nothing like the beating that a roadsters provides, Ill be buildin another one soon!!!!!! Thanks for listen........................LaterRP
