Ok first off went through the yom process here in CA and just got all my registration and tags for my 29 Rpu original plates. The stickers came with two metal tag plates that go in each end of the plate above it. Was this a 29 thing? Do u guys use these or put the stickers directly on the plate like u would a new plate? What is correct or appropriate.? Second. I got a bunch of brand new leather couch material ( vinyl) but literally matches my seat perfectly and I wanted to make door panels and kicker panels for the car. Any websites u suggest for adhesives and push clips? I plan on buying the pre built labaron and Bonnie door panels any thoughts on them?
Cheyner... I would just keep the stickers in your car with your registration and insurance in case you get pulled over. The little metal plate topper deals look kinda lame (I think)... DMV just does those for the YOM plates that don't have a spot to put a sticker on. I'm sure if a cop wanted to be a dick he could pull you over for not having the stickers on but at least you'll have them in the car. I just went to DMV and did my YOM plates the other day. Where did you find the fabric? Good seeing you the other day bud. Nate
When I did our YOM plates I didn't get the topper deals, but I also wouldn't have ran them, I agree with Nate. But I put the stickers on the plates since there was enough room to run them, and I liked the idea of people being able to see the car is a truly registered 29, not a plate someone bolted on to have at a car show for the day.....
