I was going to wait to post any photos until we get the dash finished and decide what I'm going to paint on the body. Going to be an early race car look (I think). I'm liking the way it looks now so I'm kind of afraid to change it. As always I gotta thank Clark and the rest of the So What guys that gave us a hand building this car in 6 weeks! The motor will get built up this winter. It is from a junkyard Ford Ranger. I didnt want ANOTHER SBC and I wanted something I could get parts for anywhere. I really dig when guys stand there and scratch their heads trying to guess what it is, or walk from one side of the car to the other looking because there is only one pipe sticking out the side. :) I guess I dont have the "worlds worst 32 roadster" anymore!

Great 32. The lines are perfect. Good period look. Love the color and the idea of running a modern engine with pure drivability is cl***y. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

I can attest the motor had most people (including me) fooled, my old man was the first in our group to pick up on the "cogg" timingbelt. Car was definately one of the stars of York for the trad crowd.

Zach, it is a color off a chart. I think it is more like Off Washington Blue. Thanks for the comments. I wish I would have thought to take some photos while the body was in a pile on the third floor. A couple build up photos.

Yep. He found ANOTHER set and sold them to me. They are Chevy bolt pattern and I am sending them out to be worked to Ford pattern. I think I'll do mine in the cream like the grill shell.

That looks great Larry, the hood work around the exhaust is very racy. I like the color, if my Vicky ever gets to the point I can paint it it will get that dark blue you see on Audi TT's. Thanks for posting the before photos, sure give us all hope with our rusty piles of future cars. :D

    Larry,
I remember when I packed this body in the crate with Mike when he did the deal with Clark. That sees like yrs ago, but really just only 2. You & Clark have just done wonders with this body & I am throughly impressed with the outcome!:D That color is "Off the Chart!" otta say that I am torn etween that color & the 2 tone company colors that I nmay go with for our nose job roadster.
    Job Well Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks fantastic Larry, the engine really make you wonder. they can be made to run with a little tweaking.

Are you and Clark heading to the Great White West in August?

what is the story behind the valve cover. I have never seen anything like that one. I cant find a decent looking 2.3 valve cover.

There are several aspects of your roadster that I really like...The main one I don't like is that my name isn't on the ***le...Goodonya.

Kevin, I wish you had some info on where this body came from. The weird cut up cowl and rust in unusual places makes me wonder. Junk runner, I have an original Ambler cover that Jr had a buddy cast some from. Then we made it work. Also forgot to mention that Mrs. Scary and Mrs. Bates did the bulk of the sanding on the body!

Nice looking roadster Larry, but isn't it against the law to put a 4 cyl in a 32....
