Scary bad here. All we can do is stay home. New cases multiplying exponentially every day. Good luck to all.

I stick close to home, no real uptick in the NY cases. Been working on landscaping, painting and the veggie garden. HOT... 95 yesterday and 98% humidity, welcome to summer on Long Island. I have the pool and yard as my refuge.

I shop as rarely a possible, wear the mask as dictated by law. I order almost anything for the cars online.

I went to my 1st cruise of the year at a local beach parking lot. This lot is open only on weekends. Free to park if you arrive by 7AM.

Anyway, arrived with friends, one had a Road Runner, other had a Mazda Miata. Every other space had a traffic cone in it, actually good so cars were not on top of each other.

It's south and central Texas that are the hot spots. Amarillo has actually been in declining numbers with active virus cases. We're totally gutting and remodeling a bathroom, so it seems like daily trips to the home centers. We always wear masks, but need to be more careful about the hands!! My son came up from Florida 2 1/2 weeks ago. He's in the kitchen/bath remodelling business, and has had no work since March due to the virus, so we put him to work. It's been great to spend some time with him, it's been 17 years. Always seemed like there was something in the way on our end or his. Next week, after we get the bathroom functional, we're taking a '57 Colorado road trip so he can visit relatives up there (my ex relatives, but I still keep in touch with one of them)
