Have to get there early so I don't miss out on the "Pig Roast"...! Had plenty to eat..., but you know how hard it is..., to have your mind set on a certain food and you have to switch at the last moment... ??? Guess I don't have to be too early..., Just earlier than Dan (Scallup53)... ! Anyone got a shot of your Tats??? Later Mark
Previously, people have posted photos of Bob's shindig and the cars were great! I can't wait to see this year's photos, Dan....
I'm not real good at this picture thing, but here goes. Can't seem to make it work.I fix cars, not computers. Dan
Thats okay, Dan... Call me later and I'll talk ya through it. I only took a few... then I got too drunk to see through the little viewy thingie. A panorama I took before the joint filled up. We had somewhere around 125 cars show up. Everything from a stock Rolls Royce to "in the weeds" customs to just done traditionals. SCALLOP53 gets cut... SPARKY's hot rod engine stand... on 110 race gas The happy winners of the fishing contest... An "artsy fartsy" shot... Gotta love a Willys g***er with rust on the doors. It's the real deal and did this dude dig a hole! You could smell the smoke for a mile! All in all it was a friggin' HOOT! The best moment was when the Fond du Lac County cop pulled in the driveway and the General Lee went flyin' by on the road with the rebel charge blowin'... Then some dude in a 9 second Camaro pulled out, right past the cop car, and did a HUGE burn-out right in front of him. THEN... the warbird damn near knocked the poor officer's hat off. I swear I saw shingles lift up on the barn roof. The good officer just kinda took it all in, shook it off and just left... After that it was a Free-for-all. We were sorry the Pile-up gang and the CHEATERS couldn't make the scene. We saved the center ring for ya, too... Next year...? I want to thank Dan and Sparky for all they did to help out dad on this... and the rest of the Pink Stick Brigade for parkin' cars 'n' ****. CADILLACKID's dad did the T-shirts (See SCALLOP53's) and everyone loved 'em. Bob Freund gets a special thanks, too for his DJ show. YOU ROCK BOB!!! oops, did I say "rock"? All the wives helped out too, Jods and Angel with face paintin, coloring contest, food... you name it, everyone that helped was awesome. I hope you all had a GREAT time. Again, anyone who missed it... too bad for you... ...and WINGNUTZ, I didn't git no pig, neither... I was parking spectator cars in the big field... That was damn near a 300lb. pig, and twenty five 12lb hams. Boy people sure can eat. Keep an eye on the website- www.pignpiston.com -for more pix and updates for next year. JOE PS- My biggest regret is not taking LUKESTER up on a $100 throw-down...

What "$100 Throwdown...?" Great seeing all the smiling faces on the Kids..., cripes Bob was winging them all over the joint on the "Train-O-Death"... ! Mark
[ QUOTE ] What "$100 Throwdown...?" [/ QUOTE ] After I lit the bonfire with my flame throwers, I took a buddy for a "death ride". When I got back LUKESTER was heading out, but offered to give me $100 if he could lose a race with me. I figured he needed gas money to get home, and I'd had a few ice cold PBRs... .. I coulda used that money to get a new tattoo. JOE
Wow..., for a while there I thought that I was missing a "R***lin" Match... ! Too many barns ..., not enough time to see what was going on in them... ! Wasn't the Little girl on the bike the one that caught that 10 pound b***...???? Mark
Yeah... Dad's got a mountain of hot rod bodies and parts piled aroun' that place. If'n ya noticed, he's had ro resort to storin' them on the roof. I think LUKESTER might take me at wr***lin'. 10lb b***? I didn't hear the weights on the winning fish. There's some in there. I noticed nobody fished the little pond, up top. There's a ****-load of decent B*** in there, and they're hon'ry... Most of what they caught were Bluegills, but I saw a few B***, too. I came back from parking cars, and caught the last 10 minutes of the fishing contest. Those kids had a ball! That, by the way, is why we decided to hold this "car show" in the first place. So car people's KIDS could have a day of fun... and the parents, too. ...and anyone who ever got a chance to meet Dan's kid, Cole, will tell ya, he's the coolest little ****er there is. He knows more about hot rods than half the HAMB...and is sure to leave a mark on the hot rod world when he grows up. JOE
[ QUOTE ] We were sorry the Pile-up gang and the CHEATERS couldn't make the scene. We saved the center ring for ya, too... Next year...? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I wanted to make it LAST year... and this year, but I've been busting my *** trying to get my car done for my own dang show and it's gonna be a real close call, so I couldn't take off. and that ****s because it looked like a great time. 2005. I should have everything squared away so no rush and I should be able to make it.
Now that looks like a cool show. Must be nice to have a few shade trees. Seem like everthing around here is on cement or in a big parking lot. Thats cool to bad it is to far away.
Hey Joe did anyone tell Donnie Michels yet that he had a good time.I bet he's still hungover.I can't believe it's all over.I talked to a few vendors, and they were so happy that they already committed to door prizes for next year, above and beyond this year's donation...WAY COOL!!!! Jake's dad said he sold over 75 EVENT T-SHIRTS,I wish I could get my pics to download. Dan
