    It doesn’t make sense to me so I’ll ask the experts. The golden age of hot Rodding and customs coincided with the golden age of western movies. Each one was a huge part of American culture at approximately the same era but they don’t seem to intertwine very much. I’ve seen a few customs like radical stagecoach builds or a T bucket here and there. Maybe the two genres don’t mix well together?

    What is your favorite cowboy / western inspired car?

    all deal in: horsepower; going for a ride; wheels/tires called shoes; getting back in the saddle again after a mishap;

    The picture above and below are of Roy Rodgers 64 Pontiac. I don't know who sat in the saddle, guessing Dale?

    Random interior shot. The genre gets real "campy" real fast. I've heard of 30/30 cams but not 30/30 console shifters.

    Was they long horns or was they short horns?

    If we're including professional racers, I see your Smokey Yunick and I'll raise you a Richard Petty.

    Darn......you beat me to it.....always loved every episode of Roy Rogers that included NellyBelle. Fast forward and I now have a 1953 Willys CJ3B in the garage......even retrieved it off a beautiful ranch outside Lander Wyoming and brought it back to Wisconsin/Iowa. Almost though if I looked really hard coming up out of the ranch on the red clay road with red bluffs......that I could see Roy peeking out from behind a boulder looking for the bad guy !!
