CR8APL8 License Plates BEWARE!!!!!

Those ****8pl8 repros look like ****. Restoratag look good.

 

So, which one has the correct typeface for California, or does neither? They are clearly different from each other.

 

The restoreatag.com plates are as close as you can get. There are minute differences, but most will never notice them unless you're a plate **** like me. I'm picky, and very satisfied with the plate.

So yesterday at a charity rummage sale I bought this pile o plates for $20. And I'm looking at the black ones thinking "EYJ, why does that sound familiar?".

Can anyone check if the numbers are in use or do I have to make a trip to the local ins***ute of Disappointment, Misconception and Violation?
