Crank oil seal Flathead V8

I would like to hear those of you using the one piece front crank seal over the rope seal any issues using it. Any modification needed to the oil pan.

Been using them for years now I use a repair sleeve on the pulley and sillycone the seal in have had no problems.............21 stud, 59AB, and 8BA

 

i used the one piece seal on my 8ba. no problems, and as far as i remember no modification was needed.
