Texting while driving is bad. Sleeping while driving is worse. When I die, I want to go in my sleep like my great-grandfather did... not yelling and screaming in terror like the four other people riding in his car. And, "You can work on your car while driving it" is some of the worst advice I ever got. I almost killed myself.
I heard that some idiot in a Town about 1/2 hour away went to avoid a Squirrel & Jumped the Curb & hit a Woman & her little Girl the little Girl might have Brain Damage. Watch out for Squirrel's People.! some people are Asshole's Just my 3.5 cents Live Learn & Die a Fool
when I was in High school , 3 tens were killed in a head-on crash at the top of one of Iowa's famouse gravel roads. They parked the car by the Chevy dealer to scare us into driving like we have a brain. never worked.

What's really interesting in the old newspaper stories such as this one, is that the names and addresses of the parties, and even who was likely at fault, etc. were given. And quickly. In our current "information age", almost none of that is reported.
