Just so there's no confusion.... You only get that discount with your Hamb Alliance membership, not just being a Hamb member. You get the same discount at Honest Charlie's too (same owners). Alot of others too. Check the Alliance dealers list. Best $50 you'll ever spend.
I figure that the price of tires is just part of the cost of our toys. It's part of the budget. Does anybody else here ride Harley's? This is my 2004 Electra Glide. The tires that are on it run about $420.00 for the pair and they are good for about 10 to 12,000 miles. Two hundred dollars a piece for car tires isn't too bad if you ask me. Doc
Just for laughs I checked out the size tire he was looking for at Bob Jane's here in Oz and he could get them for $79 each, keep in mind that is a regular tire, not a WWW. Tires here are comparable in price to the US.

They did skid pads, measured g forces and seat of the pants as well as had a way of measuring stress on the suspension. One thing to remember that most of us don't think about is that we are a nation driven by hype.
What rim is that? Must be an aftermarket because I have never seen a 14" that wide on a stock vehicle.
Unfortunately, you must pay to play! I have coker's on my stuff. Bias, for the look. Pleased with the performance of the tires.
I have U.S. Royals Bias ply wide whites on my olds and to me it handles and steers way better than it did with the radials. You just cant beat the look of the bias plys either, im telling you it really gives it a whole new stance and look.
Bias plys for the 53' were quoted at $950+, Is that a lot of pocket change for me?, yes. But after paying booku bucks for 80% of what I've bought for that car, all i can do is shrugh my shoulders and carry on.
Came out on a O/T 68 Chrysler Town and Country S/W which was originally rated with a 885 or 855 x 14 tire - the conversion takes it to a 235/75 x 14 I also belive they were on some Thunderbirds and or Lincolns however if someone knows more precise details I dont mind being corrected
I'm with you brother - Corky's getting richer every day - his prices weren't too bad 10 years ago, but now s@#$. I'm driving on 22 year old 670x15 Firestones on my '50 "driver, and hold my breath every time I get caught in rain on 2 lane roads. As far as your flappers check out YouTube on installing them - there's some real good videos.
