Customs crazy idea what do you think?

hey guys so i was working on my truck the other day and started to think you see all of these four doors being converted into two doors. has any one converted a 55-59 (era) pickup into a crew cab ? hahah thought it would be crazy to try it just throwing it out there

Not seen it done,but the forest service and I believe railroad bought them like that.

on a trip to calif. a couple yrs ago we stopped at a hotrod shop/muesum on hy 66 in n.m..they were building one then. actually they had 2 projects going. a 4 dr and a 6 dr.and they lookied good.im not one on adding more doors to a car or truck, hell i always want to take doors away from instead of adding but these did look good.and that suprised the hell out of me!!!

 

There is one that runs around Joliet area in Illinois. Here it is, looks ok to me, but also kind of strange.

 

There is a purple 4 door 55 i believe it was,with late model running gear at Jefferson the last few times I was there. Sorry I don't have any pics.,but I'm sure someone here will.
