With just that body shell there's a simple solution; a 10'x12' aluminum or tin shed will cover it. (You may even be able to find a used shed cheap or free). ***emble the shed WITHOUT a floor and drop it right over the body. Then stake the shed to the ground so it doesn't blow away. Keeps the shell out of sight and out of the weather. You can take the shed with you when you move.

BTW, your shell is a candidate for a Drake/Carpenter p***enger quarter. Doors can be found for a couple hundred each. Keep your eyes open for a 4 dr. sedan roller/ch***is as a foundation for your new coupe.

Valid plates and do exactly what Outlaw said above. Move the project car around so it looks like you have been driving it even if it doesn't have an engine and never let the gr*** grow up under or around it.
And keep it washed and the interior somewhat clean without stuff stored in it.

Even if it's obvious that you don't have an engine in it if it gets moved around on a regular basis and kept clean the neighbors will most likely think you are working on it and just rolled it back outside. And if it isn't sitting in the same spot every time the code guys drive by they don't usually pay much attention. It's that car that never moves and has gr*** growing up through the bumper and above the running boards that really catches their attention.
I'm liking that rv trailer that is gutted out to put a project inside idea though. I have a 50.00 camp trailer on my place that is a storage shed with a license plate. It costs 19.00 a year to tag it and the windows are covered up on the inside so no one can see in it. Other than that it looks exactly like what it used to be before I got it, an old hunting trailer that got used a couple of weeks a year.
