I am setting up a single leaf setup on my dodge altered, Do i have to run 4 links forward or will 2 be fine? what are the pro and cons with each? thanks
If you're running a tube axle you probably want two parallel bars on one side to hold the radius and caster angle and one bar on the other just to hold the radius and not bind up the former. Are Ford style split (stock Ford) wishbones legal in Australia? I thought they weren't....
Sorry i didn't specify, i am running the cross leaf on the back. Split wish bones are legal providing the ends at full length are only 12 inchs apart, they allow this to clear geaboxes
I'd use 4 links or ladder bars. There is a lot of force trying to twist that sucker when you're taking off. Spring alignment will be important too. You won't want it to bind up as the diff moves through it's travel.
