Cruising returns to Van Nuys Blvd

Had a great time last night. It seems like it is growing each month.

 

Sounds like everyone had a good time again, glad to hear it. This is the first one I missed and I'm bummed. I'll be there in Sept. for sure.

 

I had a blast yesterday, got a chance to arrive at Rydell before 5:00 p.m. and get a good spot on the street (my car is not show worthy), right in front of the lot. I also had the opportunity to shoot more pictures in the daylight as people drove in and around the parking lot/cruise spot. Plus, I got to see a glimpse of myself on the news to boot. All in all a great day. For those of you that I met for the first time yesterday, I just want to say thanks for the brotherhood. In addition, thanks to the members of VMCA for putting on this event, and thanks for the hookup on the VMCA t-shirt. The Only Part Of The Old Days Cruising That Is Missing Is A Few Girls Driving By With Her Boobs Hanging Out The Window Screaming... I Bet I Saw That Happen Four Or Five Times Back In The Day On A Cruise Night. Or Maybe A Full Moon....lol

 

She corrected herself the 2nd time and changed to El Carino

But instead of boobs and or a full moon you'll see tattoos and a smile. Haha.

 

Yeah, but that cute butterfly tattoo from the 1970's probably looks like a 747 on final approach today.
