    Hi, Everyone!
We are from Germany and will come to California end of this month. Hopefully there will be no rain on Nov. 11, and the Cruise Night will be one of the best this year :).
To our regret, we cannot bring our 66 Mustang, as we bought him two years ago in L.A. and brought him to Germany, but our friend has a 65 Mustang, and we can take him and his car to the cruise.
Looking forward to meet some of you guys!
... and yes, we are used to rain and cold weather at this time of the year (even yesterday we had some snow :()
    See you soon!

Who of you guys will be there on Nov. 11? I found out, it is Veterans day, does that mean anything, like it is not going to happen, or there will be more people??

Many greetings from cold and rainy Germany,

    Marion

i don't have wipers but i have a squeegee...i drove to Paso one time pouring rain w/ no wipers so this is nuthin...and plus i wont have to wash it....it doesn't look like its gonna rain much later on according to my calculations.....but i could b wrong...

  23. Now it's back down to 20% from 3-5PM, 15% 5-8PM, and at 8 it goes up to 30%. Basically, not too much to worry about. I'm gonna go. Fuck it. I'd rather go, than find out it was sunny all up and down the "Bull", and hundreds showed up
PS-I'm about 3 miles away and the Sun's trying to pop out at 1.30 here

Hi all Reid just got off the phone with Rydell, we can still use the lot, BUT we will have no lights or bathrooms. Plus with the oil on the street it is really too dangerous to put people out directing traffic, (there are people driving by my house right now trying to avoid the 2 accidents on nordhoff st) Cruise cool, and be careful
out there. Remember some people just can't drive in the rain even with wipers!

I'm only guessing, but, I'd say the turnout will be very low, and without a good size crowd it won't be much. In-any-event, I guess we'll see.

On a brighter note, the HAMB Cruise to the old Harvey's-Johnies Drive-in that was illegally torn down, and now rebuilt from the original plans as a Bob's Big Boy Broiler is on for tomorrow starting at 5pm.

The drive-in is finished and it will officially open Monday the 19th at 10pm.
Tomorrow I expect the drive-in will have their lights on, and I bet all the cars will look great under the lights. Bob's isn't open yet, but, the cruise-night is on.

Check out this thread on the HAMB:
