Cruising returns to Van Nuys Blvd

hey eggplant i gotta agree with you on this one...

groucho i didnt think i'd see the day when you would join up with the nay sayers on this whole van nuys cruise thing... you've been to all the cruise nights... and for the most part the rydell lot has been packed and ends up being closed... (except rainy days) so people park on the street... van nuys blvd is packed with cars on the street. i dont see us not having the lot being a big issue...

...unless you wanted to park and pull out yer lawn chair?

anyway... those that wanna park... will find a place. thats whats been happening the entire time.

its van nuys blvd... people will come to cruise.

i dont see this dying out because of a parking lot...

I'm not a ney sayer. Just a realist. It was a mere 10-15 degrees cooler than normal last month, with no chance of rain, and the attendance SUCKED. It's just my belief that this thing will fall apart without a comfort zone. Hell, the slightly chilly weather SHOULD'VE encouraged people to cruise with their heaters on instead of hanging at the lot. Instead, they chose to stay home. Wimps. I just call it as I see it. It's got nothing to do with ney saying. I'll go till it stops. But, I think that time may be sooner than we want it to be due to too many fair weather folks out there, that should realize it's ALL fair weather in SoCal. Hell, look at the news wimps, it's sub-zero in almost half the country. THOSE people would've loved to have cruised last month out here
PS-I think I'm gonna try the Mexican food @ La Fogata this time. It's on the East side of the "Bull", about 2-3 blocks South of Burbank Bl

la fogata is good stuff... but every time i head out there i get to the cruise at around 730 8ish... by the time i cruise around for a bit... talk to folks here and there... and build up an appetite... ITS CLOSED!

i should eat first. then cruise.

It's not going to stop over a parking lot? I guess we'll just see. It SUCKED last month and we HAD the lot. After the shitty turnout last month, I ain't giving anyone any credit for anything. I'm not crying, and I'm not ney-saying. And it's NOT "negative energy" it's FACT. And FACT was, hardly anyone showed for the last one just 'cause it was a bit chilly. BOOHOO. And, just wait and see how Wednesday is, because most people have to have all the planets all lined up before they'll get off their couches
