  1. True.
It's amazing how a LOT of people will spend THOUSANDS of dollars on stereo equipment, to punish others with their shitty music(?) 9 blocks away:rolleyes:. (let's not forget the one guy with 8 T.V.'s in his car). Have ya really got THAT much money to piss away? Hey, I like my music loud too....INSIDE MY CAR, not 9 blocks away

Yeah, there wasn't a whole lot going on. Some cool stuff, but all in all a lot more "lambo doors" than wide whites tonight...

Still and all, I'll keep going and hope it picks up with the weather. No one likes standing around in the 25mph wind.

Did get to see the spectacular maroon Starliner custom and some other neat stuff, though. I don't know anyone on the board but it's still cool to see HAMB stickers in windows...

the reason those cars have loud stereos is that you can always look away to avoid seeing them, so to make sure they annoy you they install the music boxes.

if you wear ear plugs, then you will notice they smell funny too

^^^ Let's not be too hard on these cars/people. They're just cruising & hanging out... and isn't that what this was supposed to be about? Some are a little loud... but a wise man once said..."If it's too loud, you're too old." :D

I've also noticed that those guys usually pick a spot on the street annd all hang out. From the stories you guys have posted, that's what people used to do back in the day. The Street racers here.. the lowriders there.. the vans some place else. Why not give props to the loud speaker/lambo door crowd for claiming their spot?

I'd love to have only pre-1970 cars there but the reality is that we are in 2010 and 1yr old Chryslers with lambo doors and massive woofers do exist. That's why car shows have cut-off dates.

Fair enough, and they were certainly attracting some onlookers too. Just was hoping to see more of what I'm personally into...the lambo door guys were probably wondering what all the primered, partially completed chop jobs and old pickups were doing there, too. :)

And the lowrider crowd features some thoroughly AMAZING paintwork, whether up my alley or not!

  7. the streets belong to everyone. i don't like the big wheel crap anymore than you guys do. but that is whats in right now, give them a break

  8. I have no problem with the cars. We had new cars cruisin the "bull" back in the 70's. And Mommy's 4-door full of girls. All good. It's the L.L. MoFo, and Emcee Has-been bullshit music that I wish they'd NOT be so kind to share at warp-9 static.

Mexican food Not very good here I'd be happy with a mission burrito

  23. no really dude. we'll rate them by the average price per plate. Taste. Accuracy of order. Speed of food arrival so that we can get back to cruising. Ease of negotating drive thru. Accuracy of said drive thru. Friendliness of service. Cleanliness of said establishment. Was the counterhelp courteous. And last but not least, were there any hot babes working, what were they wearing and were they showing any cleavage?

  24. No Mission Burrito? How could you live there dude?

    Dang. Sorry man.

Note to self: Don't ever go to Oklahoma.

I'm gonna have to try La Fogata. I usually eat at Carillos in Sanfer. Or stop by Mero Mero (the walk-up one) in Pacoima for the best torta in the SFV. Back in the day it was all about Nachos on Laurel Canyon but its long gone. The one in granada hills is bunk.

  27. Yeah La Fogata is BITCHIN' man. Carillo's, I've heard nothing but bad stories abot them. So much so that the here in Simi closed down. And noone even noticed.
