There was a guy in Tulsa several years ago who would offer to paint the street numbers on the curb in front of your house and all he used was his own clear crushed glass he did himself. He'd charge $20 to do it one way, and he would paint the black block, then paint the numbers using the paint with the glass mixed in. Stuff worked pretty good for what it was.
