For the past month the temps around here have been below 20 degrees.Today it was 35 and dry when I got home so I jumped in the roadster and cruised the neighborhood. It was great to get out even for a little bit.The neighbors gave me some strange looks. They must of been looks of envy. We're suppose to get more snow and freezing rain the rest of the week. At least I got my fix in.
Yeah, when I had a roadworthy car we used to do a top down New Years Day cruise every year snow or not. A roadworthy car... that was a long time ago. It got up to about freezing today. I was out shovelling and I saw a guy in shorts.
yeah, that's cool! I drove my truck yesterday for about 10minutes. Needed alittle fix, plus the roads were dry. You still have that sticker I gave ya at GG's? we just sent to have 100 more made.
Yeah thats cool! I took the Fairlane out today for a little bit too. I think it got up into the 50's here today. It was a great day. I also got the title in the mail for my '58. Hell yes. ...plus a bunch of parts in the mail and some lettering brushes and some pinstripe books.... Hell, today was like Christmas, only warmer.
Way to go! Winter cruising gets the cob webs out of both the car and your head. I prefer the temps to be a several degrees below freezing so that the car stays cleaner. It sure is fun to be the only guy out there and give everyone else that taste of summer yet to come. Good on ya! Mike
Boy, what I wouldn't give to be able to head out for alittle cruz in Big Olds. Bitter, bitter cold here lately. It will be nice to head south to Ohio this weekend and warm up! LOL
