I go to the swapmeet every year for something to do, and usually don't find anything worth buying. Late model stuff, t-shirts and cheap tools are in abundance though! I do like hanging out at the auction though.

  9. I had a knee surgery this week so the pan is out of the question and I'm not done with the rear end on the Merc. If we show up it will be in Mamas 1ton. Tim

We want to thank everyone that came this year - 4508 registered cars plus gawd only knows how many others that didn't register but had fun cruising and watching the cars. I volunteered directing traffic at Cruise Central and at the registration tent and had a ball, you people were super to work with this year.

My wife and I were reading the survey sheets the last day and most negative comments concerned the local police and the traffic lights...I have to agree. The lights on Hwy 90 WERE NOT SYNCHRONIZED and the cops weren't directing traffic (but they also weren't giving a lot of tickets either).

It's getting better and we already have 717 pre-registered for next year. Come on down, it's only getting better.

I just wish they would move it a few weeks...I've been 13 times now and the weather usually gets really nice about 2 weeks afterwards....
