Event Coverage Cruz N Eureka '09: this weekend

Here are the shots of Humboldt Cat (Tres' The Face) announcing the winners for the Cruz'n Eureka Car Show. The most amazing part is that he was also doing radio spots with the Burly Man all day long for Cool 105.5 & announced the next day @ the Samoa Drag Strip.
It is a great pleasure to hear Tres' (Tim) on the mic. He was born
for this and people get to where he is the only one they want to hear. If I ever get to figure out how to post sound clips on here you will know what I mean. This was his first time being the voice of Cruz'n Eureka & they loved him. he has been the voice of the Samoa Drag Strip for 6 years now & they will not let him leave for anything. LOL
On another note: Look, a pandragger behind bars. Wonder how often this scene has been repeated. LOL Just kidding, I love all of my Dragger family.

 

These are some shots from the Cruz'n Eureka sock hop, where I met my hubby, Humboldt Cat, 3 years ago.

You will see the Dragger table(sending a long distance cheers to the former Humboldt Prez, Cadi) The crowd dancing all night long, our wonderful Dj the Burley Man, Humboldt Cat & Humboldt Kitten.

We even had The King & The Pink Ladies make an appearance to show off their moves. Everyone looked great.

The group you see waving at you have, at one time or another, had a hand in helping and/or running Cruz'n Eureka in the past. Thanks for all your support guys.

All in all we had a great time & we are looking forward to seeing more of you next year.

 

Tim, thanks for the help with the tires, and a big thanks to the man who who so graciously parted with them as well. Ill bring some copies of my pictures I took into yer work, too, soon as I develop em.

Humblotd Kitten, I appreciate the compliment. I don't know about ever bein a household name, but thank ya nonetheless. And any time you want some stripin done Id be more than happt to do it. Just let me know.

 

Fory, nice to see you as always. I can't wait til you can start driving to these car shows. Anyway, I'm glad the tires are going to someone who can use them. I'm trying to thin the herd of parts/pieces so I think I got the better end of the deal.
