Mikes pickup has only hauled stryofoam peanuts, about time we put something in it. We're on the road!

We had a GREAT Time! Bought everything I wanted, but was 5 minutes too late on a 1930 Model A firewall and gas tank. Met a lot of HAMB Members, weather was perfect, field was not sold out, maybe the cost of gas is having an effect.

Sorry it did not sell. Saw alot of people looking at it. Thought for sure it would go. I bought some shrink tube and a HAMBurger;). It was good to see everyone and meet some new guys. Allstarderricks A tudor is as nice as it gets. I will try to stop over Monday and see the other old man.

allstarderricks tudor and your '32 [in your avitar] are two of the nicest cars i've seen. both cl***y colors and details. i saw derricks car at a show in washington last year and couldn't stop studying it. i love how the engine and body colors are repeated on the upholstery. very nice.

Thanks! My buyer (from Camada) backed out last night (afraid of the economy) so the 32 is stiil on the market. Hopefully the Cobra will sell and I will keep the 32. Mark

Got a few things, always a good show but I was suprised the field was not sold out. Weather was perfect for a change so I dont know what would keep people away.

  13. Paid $40 for a vendor spot and sold one fender for $20, and got a wicked sunburn. Not a good year for me, but there's always the fall.

  14. Had a great time and met some old friends I hadn't seen in years. Bought a few things (mosty tool type stuff) and then headed out to a Mopar meet at Mohegan Sun.

Not a bad turn out considering Carlisle and Amherst on same weekend.

Managed to score some wheels, gauges, a carter carb and a fuel pump. A lot more of interest at this swap than any I've been to. Wish I got there sooner to try to meet up with some guys, but I was hustling through just get get a quick look at everything before people started packing.
