To all that followed my previous thread regarding the junkyard in Colchester Ct. I have bad news to report.. Fri. eve 2/20/15 , Anunzio (Tony) Galatro 1924/2015 owner of Colchester Auto Parts for 60+ yrs. peacefully passed away in in his favorite chair listening to his radio. He was in an assisted living facility and was found during evening rounds. An obituary will be in the Hartford Courant in the next couple of days... arrangments are being made currently.. calling hours and funeral home will be in the obituary..
Tony was a great guy, stubborn sometimes, but always fair. I enjoyed going to his 90th birthday party. he enjoyed the party too..
