1952-59 Ford Cup holder

I finished the cup holder for my 56, this is just the bracket for the cup holder. I still have my original ash tray too.

Here are a few views of the cup holder, I just put it in so I haven't used it yet.





This is what I started with, $20 for a 1960 F100 ash tray. I had to do some cutting and improvising to make it work. I couldn't find a 56 ash tray for under about $80, a car or truck tray will work.

 

I use a low tech cup holder, believe it or not the edges on a roll of duct tape are a bit sticky so the holder stays in place and doesn't move around, I use it in the '54 Ranch Wagon and the '32 Ford sedan.

When not in use it slides under the seat ready to be used for it's original intent. HRP

This works for me but I like fabrication and innovation…..

 

I didn't really want to cut up my console.
