This is how it looks at this point.I hope to have it on the road soon. My question is,how have you mounted your roadster windshield,or seen it done?Have any pics? Thanks!
Holy bejeezus man you don't screw around do ya . lookin pretty good. What motor is in it? Thats not the caddy is it? later plmczy
lulabelle Check out Bobbleeds P/U..., the stantions were made from old coupe windshield frame cut into small pieces and he welded decorative sheet metal and a base that can be bolted to the cowl. The grooves in the frame have window gasket to buffer the glass and it seems pretty solid. Your car is Glass so I'd recommend making and forming a metal plate that acts like a large washer for the inside of the cowl that anchors the stantions. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=374813&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1 Hope this helps Mark

My '26 just has the bottom 1/2 of a stock windshield cut just above the wingnuts. I can take some pics if ya wanna see it.
JT...Why do you need a windshield? You can't see over the steering whell any way. How about using a bicycle fork for the windshield posts and the windshield frame I gave you? Bicycle forks have a nice taper. Clark
I made some posts out of bike forks.....actually never finished them but yer right, they do have a nice taper.
Somebody is reproducing the sports car wind screens from the 50's. Individual glass and posts for the driver and the passenger. The different look is actually cool.
