I just got this picture from a friend of mine, today. I did the bodywork, and paint on it over 14 years ago. He went to a local car show in Rahway, NJ, called Hot Rods and Harleys, and had this pic taken. He also won an award, and came by the shop to show me. This is the first nice shot of the car I've seen, I didn't even have any shots of it on my website. I thought you guys would like to see a shot of it. It's Lefty*****tti's car, he's owned it since 1967. He started to redo it in the late 70's, but went to some disreputable shops, and the car just got taken apart and forgotten about. After getting "the treatment" from 3 different shops, he found me, though some friends. We put the car back together, and customized it, nosed, decked, roof scoop turned into a 3rd brake, 56 Chevy taillights frenched in, louvered hood, tunneled antennas, etc. We painted it an IROC Camaro color from the late 80's, Torch Red Pearl, and did in between the inserts , and highlighted the quarter scoops with gold pearl. He's running the 348 with tri-power, and a 3 on the tree. The car's been finished for a long time, but he still gets compliments on it. Congrats, Lefty!
