    I got this chopped top 40 ford pickup unfinished . am trying ID the frame builder . It's all new except sheet metal , pics below

    Doesn’t look like a pro unit to me. Probably some guy in his home shop.

    That's a one-off.

    It has design elements that are ad hoc, and would not make sense in a production environment.

    Some of the engineering is redundant.

    I was thinking the same thing at first look; unless it was built many years ago, a "pro" shop would have used mandrel bent tube and cleaner brackets etc.
