OK, maybe this should go in the Cl***ifieds (and I'm sure I'll be made aware if that's the case) So...I know there's a lot of good folks who could use some extra work these days, and I have been trying to figure out what to do with the grill for my '61 Cad. The '61 grill is a semi honeycomb type ***embly, has about 100+ "bullets", and is a PITA to dis***emble, and more importantly, re***emble. I have 3 of them, 1 in pretty good shape, but all 3 complete. What I need is someone who can take it apart, make it purty, and put it back together. By purty, I mean show worthy - chrome, polished, whatever (it's aluminum). There is a special tool designed to reinstall the bullets - costs $100 on eBay, but I will provide the tool if necessary. So, if you're up for it, PM me and let me know what you think you can do, and for how much. Local Dallas area would be preferred, but whoever gives me the best option will get the job. Pic of a random '61 grill attached.
Probably ought to go in the wanteds but I'll say that you will probably get max esposure here. Give it a week or two if no one bites PM me. I don't doubt that someone who is scratching out a living working on other people's stuff will want to do it but if not I'll try and help you out with it.
Hey PNB - your offer still on the table? Never got anyone to respond and need to get this grill lookin good. Holler back. Thanks, Kenny
