This is an absolutely awsome thread! Read about the Ina Mae Lincoln in the Swedish magazine Gasolin and found this thread that way. About time to get some updates Did they ever do a 46-48 Chevy?
I used to live in rosemead california and there was a valley customs on valley blvd and rio hondo av. I would see the green hornet and batmobile cars there at times... Lots of cool lo riders as well. Is this the same valley customs? Circa 1971.
Every time the name "Valley Custom" pops up, I check it out. Not just because of the fine rides that came out of the shop over the years, but because I have known most of the Emory clan for many, many years. I don't mean to seem soppy, but I gotta tellya, this family is a cl*** act from top to bottom. Just like the cars that came out of the shop, they are smooth, cl***y, true to tradition, and will live on forever in the minds and eyes of the fans and future fans. God bless Neil Emory, he will be forever missed.
What an excellent old thread! Thanks Jay for posting the link on TJJ. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=21756
This is the Valley Custom Deuce 5 Window I found in The Recycler newspaper a few years ago. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=553893

Does anyone know the current whereabouts or what may have happened to the " Del Mar"? The gentleman who purchased the car from Tad, **** Falck, would like to find the car or it's final history if possible...……...…………..
