Many years ago I was driving my 50 Merc around in the Tri Cities of Washington State and an old gentleman asked to speak to me. He told me of a car collection at an old lumber yard in the neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon. I am curious if anyone has any follow up information on this. I heard that there was a custom 50's Oldsmobile (done in the 50's). I actually called there once and spoke to the guys mother. She had to be in her 90's at the time. I was unable to get an address or a price on anything she had. It was very frustrating for me. Maybe someone in the Astoria area has some info. Mostly, I would like to know what happened to the collection and what was there. I am sure by now she is gone and he may be too by now.
You should change your ***le to include Astoria Oregon, northwest and custom car collection or something like that, you may get some Oregon... ians? Oreganos? Oregringos? ...HAMBers from that area you're asking about.
