I scored a ride to CCR and have my room booked at the Drury Hotel Carmel (Host Hotel)for Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights. This room has 2 queen beds so if anyone is coming and wants to share a room for one or all nights please message me. Kevin Anderson who organizes the event has been exceptionally helpful. He reached out to friends and got me a ride with Jimmy Hervatin in his spectacular Ford F100 pickup. Fortunately Jimmy lives a short distance from where I will be staying in Missouri and he has offered me a ride there and back. Kevin also reached out to the Drury Hotel to get my stay extended to fit in with Jimmy's schedule. Thanks Kevin for all your help.My last trip to USA(from Australia) was in 2019 and I attended the CCR and it was exceptional. I just noticed in the picture I attached that it is Kevin standing in the background with maybe Jimmy and other admirers of the truck.
