You can call me what you want, but I'm sick of you little pissant newbies running your mouths off when the situation doesn't call for it...so next time shut your yap so someone can learn or gather ideas...
Pic of the Morgensen Spl on a Trailer. This car was later the Morgensen Buick, when it had a Nailhead. And later than that Old Yeller #1 when Max Balchowsky raced it. This pic was taken in about '54, when it had a Plymouth 6 inline...
Who needs a trailer? 1. Your ride has a brake down on the rod. * YES 2. Towing during the build. * 3. New builder coming home. * 4. Hauling parts. * 5. Towing to a car show. NO WAY I think we get the point here. Trailers have their place for the right jobs. CRUISER

I've owned this trailer since 91. It was a 16 footer, now it's 24 ft with a 40" semi sleeper on the front. It's had I don't know how many cars and parts on it over the 30,000 plus miles it's traveled. The only time the cpe has been on it was when it was being built or when it was boke, like when I tore up the complete front clip hitting a deer. For those that complain about someone having a trailer. How do you haul a project home? I would guess most of the time you get a buddy who has a trailer. Well I do it myself and do it when I want, not when someone else can
I have a winch on the front of my dodge tow rig. When I need to load broken junk on the trailer I run the winch cable under the tow rig, over the tongue of the trailer. Hook to the car, and pull it on the trailer. Kinda red neck, but it works well when you have more than one trailer.
I've got a dolly and a flatbed trailer. The flatbed is a 16ft with a steel bed, works great for towing behind a 1/2 ton truck, its a really old Mall brand trailer... My wheel dolly is a ghetto pos that I only use to haul cars to the junkyard, It's made me a lot of $$$ and I got it for putting a timing belt in a Camry.
I trailered my '29 RPU to the HAMB drags host hotel, and then drove it everywhere from there. Granted, it was only about 110 miles from my house to Joplin, but there was NO FREAKIN WAY I was going to take a chance on it breaking down and sticking me on the side of the road - not in my family's heirloom like that. Not to mention that I'd about twice as big as the little stock cab. So I trailered it. I felt safer knowing that if something happened then I had my ride home right close as well. My trailer is a 18' flat wood deck with a diamond plate steel 2' dovetailed deck. Here's a picture of the entire rig:
