I painted my 62 1/2 Corvette custom model. I’m new to the airbrush so I’m practicing the Winfield fade. No clear yet.
no problem, just need a 62 smashed in the front and a 63-67 smashed in the back for within my budget of $5k… LOL
thanks man, as much as I loved my mild custom corvette before, the panel striping made it 100 times cooler!!! https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/panel-striping-on-my-corvette.1293306/
Many years back, I had a '62 FI which had been mildly customized. I unmildly uncustomized the critter... I drove it (very slightly customized) as my daily driver for about 10 years. Then like a dumbshit I sold the critter. One of the few cars that I have run with a vanity plate. It read 62 Fueli.... The plates in CA back then were Blue with yellow letters. I taped off the yellow and painted the blue in a satin black. I ran it like that for 10 years and was never questioned about those early vanity black and yellow plates... A young fellow that worked for me gave me this matchbox '62, painted like mine.... After 40 years, I still have it....
