I like it too, but it is actually a '63.

  5. So they removed the split? I'm no Vette expert, so other than the back window, and fake hood vents what is different on the body of a 63 compared to a 64? Thanks.

On the sail panel or B pillar the '63 has indents. The '64-5 has grills and the left side is functional with an exhaust fan. The big tell on this car is the A pillar reveal mouldings. They are one year only. There is one on the windshield pillar and the leading door post. '64-7 only has the stainless reveal moulding around the windshield. So yep. they removed the rear window split.

'63 was also the only year with the white pearl fuel door, regardless of body color.

Man, where the heck did you find those pics? I was just going off memory mainly but guess I remembered most of it right.

Saving these images by the way... I am guessing they must be in one of dad's albums somewhere... :D

  13. Some further looking it looks like you could get yourself into a custom corvette for cheap ! Maybe less than $5k

Here's a roof section that'll also turn it into a coupe, taking best offer

A couple different front ends, one would be really custom lol

My friend built this car in the mid-seventies. He refreshed it and put back on the road a couple of years ago. Just curious mark ,what do you usually get to eat at the drive in? I wish we had a drive in around where I live. But the local knuckleheads would ruin it for everybody.

no sir, there are a number of picnic tables for people to eat at. The drive in borders on a bicycle/walking trail and many people visit without cars
