I have been looking for a custom dash panel for the new gauges in my 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria, and while I could find one online through different retailer's for smaller gauges, I wanted something that would accept the factory gauges, after some real **** Tracy investigation, I found the actual maker of all the custom =Engine Turned Aluminum Dash Panels= you see online, I called them and talked to Steve who told me, if you make a template of your dash panel and where you want the gauges positioned, they will make you, your own custom dash panel, for however many gauges and sized gauges you want. I was told it could take up to 3 weeks, but they try to get them out within 1 week. Here is their website, https://www.fpmmetals.com/product-category/dash-panels/ I hope this can help someone with their cl***ic car dash.
That's some great info. I made an engine turned insert in my old Sedan Deliv. By the time I made a jig for the drill press, learned the technique and slowly/meticulously made it...It probably ended up being a $1000 dash insert
Someone on eBay was selling them for the Fords like yours and mine, IIRC the $$ was reasonable. They could be ordered with or without the gauges.
