I always thought these were beautiful cars. I'd like to build a dual cowl version of a '36-36'.

  3. Someone's gotta be building one out there or has some pictures at least.
    Here's another one i found.

A 35/36 with a DuVall windshield lowered with 16 in. flippers is something I dream about.

I LOVE the '35 in the first picture!!! Saw it in person a few years ago in person in Puyallup, WA- original owner had it fully restored and it was beautiful! Tried to hook it up with The Rodder's Journal.

This one isn't technically a "custom"- but it is an old hot rod with history. Gene Winfield painted it in 1962 and handmade some really cool parts for the interior. My dad bought it about 4 years ago and last year went through it and replaced the tired ZERO compression flathead with a '61 Corvette 283 that was in his '32 3-Window. At the same time lowered the car, added the wheels and tires that were installed on his '40 Coupe in the sixties, re-did the interior and replaced the top that blew off in 1965 when the previous owner drove it from Modesto to college in Reno, Nevada. Still runs a '39 trans and '36 rearend. The old lacquer really shined up well after dad spent many hours hand polishing the paint. The car had sat in a barn for many years in Modesto. When the car was apart I uncovered history that it once ran swing pedals and was in a serious accident that bent the lower corner of the drivers side cowl sometime before Winfield painted it- and then the chassis was most likely swapped to a stocker because of that previous accident.
