    hello, can you tell me what stops the rear axle rolling forward and back
    -is it the watts link?

    Here is the frame under my 41 ford truck - It's a 46 car frame , model a rear crossmember - custom front - shortened - boxing plates welded in place - holes from inner frame extended to outter frame & sleved - recesses for radius rod munts -

  10. Its got a two link, like a truck arm suspension. Axle is bolted to the lower link. The watts link keep the axle centered side to side.

    Here's a 60 Mercury Monterey frame modified for air ride w/ Camaro front suspension and 9" Ford fabricated housing. This thing was a real labor of love!!!!

    Here's more pictures of my 41's frame- It's just about ready, just lacks shocks - fuel tank - fuel and brake lines - battery box-
    There has been another modification for brake / clutck setup but no good pictures of it!

    The chassis I built for my 26 RPU. Starting with 2x6x1/8" tubing and some 2x3x1/8" for the rear kickup.

    Bought the front axle and using an 8" rear from a Maverick. Fabricated everything else.
