Technical Custom guys- sexiest hubcaps ever?

Thanks for the info '50Fraud, I went to the big auction site and found a few sets for sale; I guess I don't need them after all, lol, $600 for a set of "okay condition" hubcaps is ridiculous. I'll stick with my chrome rings and baby Moons for awhile, I'm spending all my fun money on the '51 Ford re-wiring and updating the interior a bit.

 

I like little caps and rings better on prewar cars.

 

I still prefer Moons on almost everything, unpolished....

 

54 Chrysler New Yorker or 55 Studebaker. Haven't decided which I like better. Thinking Chrysler since I will be running a 354 hemi.

Here's mine. 49 Pontiac hubcaps adapted onto Ford hubcaps with a centre bullet.

 

Epy ,I also just got a set of 49 pontiac hubcaps, i love them and their alot cheaper than the more popular hubcaps.Can you please share how exactly you were able to mount them? Also are you running 15 or 16s. very nice ride by rhe way

I run 57 Cadillac caps on my 51 Vicky

My 51 Merc has reproduction Oldsmobile that are date stamped 1958 on the back!

'53 Caddy, '57 Ford center ???

 

I noticed the Ford center cap too...pretty cool for sure. I’ve been contemplating putting the chrome bullets on my Plymouth caps as on this 48 Merc.

But a few weeks ago I came across the 30/31 Model A caps and at only 4-1/8” OD and 3/4” high.
They might look cool... paint the ribs gold on the Plymouth center and paint the center ford cap red leaving the script polished stainless.
