I’m going with this Calnevar aftermarket sombrero. SO deep compared to the normal sombreros surrounding it. And that super-thick emblem too.

 

I have these on my Pick Up. Luv em.

 

I'm a simple guy I guess. Dog dish caps with multiple rings of stainless, pinstripe, and whitewall do it for me..... or just take it all off and get down to business!

 

after much research and thought I have the answer in true hamb tradition . whatever you have 4 of that fit ! im down to my third favorite . if I had 2 more id be happy . anyone got some ? 1 think there 60 rambler ?

Poor original box doesn’t have much life left in it.

 

My custom hubcaps on chrome wheels made from cut down 61 corvair wheel covers are on my Model A The 37 Chevy has flipper bar hubcaps but will probably do something custom on it also

 

Wow, thanks for sharing that picture of your sweet Model A. Always looking for something "new" in the custom hubcap world. I've never seen this done. Looks great.

 

Many, many years ago (maybe 30-35), a friend is checking out the Charlotte Flea Market and sees a full set of these. Says to himself, "those have to be the tackiest, most tasteless and vulgar wheel covers I have ever seen." An hour later when he returns to buy them, they had been sold.

 

They Vibrate like you read about... (The Wheel covers, ya sick-o!)

I found the rest of the set and added skylark flippers . works for me . total cost . no !!!

OK, we all like Sombrero's, me included, and this is my favorite way to use at least one of them...

Some nice hubcaps shown here. My favorites are 57 Plymouths. They used to be everywhere way back when (except on 57 Plymouths ). The 60 Ford wagon I'm working on will have a set if I ever get back to working on it.

 

Can anyone identify this hubcap ? I hid the emblem in the centre or it would be obvious.

 

It's an Edsel, '58 or '59.
