Projects Custom made air cleaner?

    Ok, here's a mock up of what I'm thinking. It's the original air cleaner lid but mounted straight to the carb. The base is also the original air filter bottom section that I'll mount a 4 7/32 adapter to the bottom. Then I'll cut the lid down by an inch or so to mimic the Chrysler style air cleaner.

    If this works, all I need to do is figure out the color :)

    Thanks, it looks much better in person. I really like the idea of getting it powder coated to match the valve covers

    Homemade with a couple of purchased pieces and a few pieces I machined. Then of course lots of welding, filing and sanding as expected.
