Custom made valve covers

    I love 348-409s, but want something different for valve covers. Any ideas about getting custom ones made? What are the costs, etc.?

    Steel, aluminum? You could have some thick steel or alumnum bases/surrounds the shape of the gasket water jetted and go from there. Shape could be up the fabbers taste.

    Can't recall the thread but a member on forum (Sweden?) did a custom finned alloy oil pan for his AMC as no one manufactured them. When finished it was fantastic and a few others on the HAMB asked if he would repop one for them. Can't recall what car it was in though, worth a search.
