There you go, I was hoping you would move some metal around.

Much better, good work! Are working out in this cold?

  3. Yep, it was about 28°F in the garage with my heater ON.

....looks great Andrew and even with the amount of work already done, it would have been much worse if you had installed it off-center, tried to live with it, and had to tear it all out to keep your sanity. And besides, these visual and mental puzzle challenges make it all worthwhile and keep you young....haha

    That looks great!
How about the door wings, you have to modify them too a bit to get them "flowing" with the garnish mouldings?

  7. Thanks Mark. It's nice to actually be moving metal instead of just cutting out rust and repairing it, which feels like all I've done on this car so far.

Yep Antti, the wings are going to take some work. I'll have a better handle on it this weekend when I get the dash 100% in the right place. It's still sitting a bit high and leaning forward too much. The wings will point down a bit, I'll try to get them a bit more level, but they slant on jerseymike's too and they look just fine. Need to start cutting up and fitting garnish moldings too, that's going to be fun.
