did this in autobody school. our teach wouldnt let us co crazy with mods because of limited time but we welder and filled the front seam, removed the rivets, then painted them however we wanted. I went with midnight blue and flames.

    Great updates guys!

With home remodeling and other things occupying our time, we haven't dedicated much effort to finishing up the pedal car.

Love the body shop cars redzula!

hey all, could a few of ya post how you attached your push bar? have my frame kidna built and ready to attach push bar and wheels. Could use some ideas on push bar.

A bit bummed, to make it as low in the rear as i had planned i'd have to narrow the seat area too much, so mine will be riding high(er) than original plan

Broken, how about a pic of your pushbar in yours?

I like the idea, thinking of doing a 1/2 drive socket and short extention to build my pin type receiver.

Unhappy with my frame allready, so planning to rebuild it again soon. On the hunt for some 7 inch or smaller tricycle wheels, thinking the spokes would look cool. Radio flyer sells white painted ones online cheap, anyone know of chrome ones?

  20. biskit, where did you get the tires and wheels?

  21. Here are a couple I did recently.
The pedal car was built by 203 Custom Car Works in Ypsilanti Michigan to be auctioned off for charity.I just did the striping and details.

The other car is an electric car built about 20 years ago.I bought it at a yard sale for about $10 and it sat on the roof of my 57 Safari wagon for years.I recently re-painted it and got it running for my grandson Jake.We delivered it to him two weeks ago and I think my son is STILL trying to pry him loose from it. He will be 3 in January and it took him about 5 minutes to learn how to drive it.

Nice additions guys... hopefully this winter I'll be able to get some work done on this thing so our son can use it this spring/summer/fall.

Love the discussion on the push bar. I have an idea for our's but I need to get it bent up so see if it will work as planned.

Decided to use a large coupling nut and deepwell socket to attach my pushbar. drilling it so i can put a pin through, just to be totally sure it wont come apart. i'll then have the pushbar with required T handle and drink holders built onto it.
