The '54 Belair trim is a long way from a direct-swap as far as fitting goes, the bumpout in the 53-54 quarter panel is way further forward than on your car, so you'd have to extend the quarter panel pieces forward. The shape of the bumpout is different, too. Still possible, but will involve welding stainless (or a bunch of unions or seams).

A couple of those cars used Pontiac beltline moulding. One of my favorite subtle additions to a chevy custom. I'm going to run that on my '54...

The welding isn't a problem. Have done a ton of it in the past but would have to play around with it since it's been a while since doing stainless.
Another concern would be the shape & height of the fender wells. If memory serves me correctly the 53-54 fender wells have more of a squared off look. May throw the proportions off.

Teddy P's car has the Pontiac beltline moulding. I like that look as well.

No idea if it´d fit in reality, but this is photoshopped 54 Chev 210 trim, cut to fit.
I lost the belt line trim as I felt it was fighting the side chrome.

Karl, I'll have to leave that up to someone else for the time being. I just bought a new computer and new digital photo editing software. So I have a steep learning curve ahead of me for the next few weeks!
