Hello fellow tubaholics, here is my contribution. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Lynn over the weekend and am looking forward to getting ours side by side.

...and kind of a later model "tub".
Back in the '80s I bought this old drag car '51 Ford because it was cheap ($500). Didn't know what I wanted to do with it...but one drunken night (and a sawzall), cut the roof off.
Reinforced the frame (3/4" plate), built a buck and made a fiberglass roof. Threw in a 289/C4, some other custom touches and drove the wheels off it. Didn't have $1,500 in the whole thing.

 

Cord 4Dr tub from a sedan I like ths one. Is it finished now? It's in Dover Deleware, anybody know who the Owner / Builder is?
